TOOLS & FRAMEWORKS
This isn’t for everyone.
Here’s who it’s for.
Elevate Sales uses enterprise-grade frameworks and assessment tools where they strengthen the Selling System. The right tools are selected to support performance. Not to force a particular way of working, and not as a headline proposition.
Sandler Sales Methodology
The capability framework within the Selling System.
Sandler is one of the most recognised and globally proven sales methodologies available. Simon Carstens is New Zealand’s only certified Sandler trainer.
Sandler is not a closing script or a set of persuasion techniques. It is a structured, buyer-centred framework that equips salespeople with the mindset and behaviours needed to qualify rigorously, uncover real business pain, develop credible business cases, and advance deals based on mutual commitment rather than pressure.
At Elevate Sales, Sandler is used as the capability layer within a broader Selling System. The methodology strengthens how salespeople sell. The system provides the process, leadership, and environment in which those skills can be consistently applied.
Simon Carstens is New Zealand’s only certified Sandler trainer. He is authorised to deliver and adapt Sandler programmes for organisations across New Zealand, tailored to the specific selling environment of each business.
Talogy Caliper Assesement
Science-based assessment for hiring, coaching, and development.
Talogy is one of the world’s leading personality assessment companies with over 60 years of research behind it. The Caliper assessment is used selectively where it adds real value.
The Talogy Caliper Profile measures 21 personality traits, 56 competencies, and 280 workplace behaviours. It predicts how a candidate or employee is likely to perform across sales-specific role requirements removing the guesswork from hiring decisions and providing a rigorous foundation for development planning.
At Elevate Sales, Talogy is used in situations where an objective, data-based view of individual capability and fit will genuinely improve a decision or a development outcome. It is not applied as a default.

TOOLS IN CONTEXT
The tools follow the diagnosis. Not the other way around.
Every engagement starts with understanding what is genuinely limiting performance. Once that is clear, the right tools whether Sandler, Talogy, or something else entirely are selected to support the solution.
